Humans
|
Humans are the most common being
found in Teracine. Humans are considered
to be the foundation of life for
all of the other races. The gods created them
almost as a foundation or mold for all the
other races.

Elves
|
The elves of Teracine are known to be very tall
and slender by comparison to humans. They have elongated
ears and a graceful appearance, though all elves -
compared to the human foundation for races - look
unnaturally thin. They simply are not curvaceous in build.
They may have unnatural hair colors or skin tones.

Vampires
|
Vampires, regardless of gender, appeal
to their and other races as extremely beautiful. It is
this ability to attract victims that helps
them to hunt and feed. Vampirism is essentially
a virus or curse spread by the infected through biting or contact
with an infected's bodily fluids.
The initial stages of the virus include a slow death. Loss of consciousness
and convulsions begin, during which time grinding and
crunching noises may issue from the body as the anatomy
of the being is changed. The victim remains dead
for some time before awakening changed, depending on the victim.
- Vampires react to it differently. Some may show remorse, and those leave
their victims alive usually, and others may become unholy blood drinkers only.
A vampire will die within a few months without consuming blood, and the blood
of animals will not suffice. There are no "organic" vampires.
- Feed on the blood of other races
- Capable of intercourse only after feeding, but not procreation
- May come out in sunlight, but must blend end with society or risk destruction
- Stronger than an average member of their race with enhanced speed
(They would be fast like cheetahs, basically a faster or stronger animal,
not supernaturally so. They don't blink from one place to another.)
- Stop aging when bitten
- Die only when decapitated
- Dark magic only

Demons
 |
Demons are no different from the other aces in that they are usually at least
Humanoid in appearance. There are different types of demons, however, but they
are classified as monsters, in essence, who differ from vampires in that they
can go out in daylight. Demons may be mortal or immortal, dying only when
decapitated. They do not love, they do not show compassion, and they are
as likely to kill someone trying to charm them as look them in the eyes. They
are considered to be the manifestations of dark magic.

- Usually active at night, depending on the species
- Cannot enter into any city with shrines or temples to benevolent gods
- Are evil
